  • Wasn't going to rush out for this.     You bums have twisted my arm now though.       I'm thinking Asda midnight !!!

  • All the fiotage in this video is taken directly off the PS3 build. If it looks this good on current gen then I cant wait for 7 on the PS4.

  • Its always the same, as an old platform is looking into the eyes of its replacement is always when the best games for the old platform come out. The best games on PS4 will be out when PS5 is coming.

Yeah. That mountain looks fantastic as does controlling 3 people at once, Looks to be done very well. You could easily lose months in this and no doubt people will buying everything, collecting things, completing challenges. There was only two games I was going to buy this year. One was The Last of Us and the other is GTA V. Think I'll have to preorder it

Looks great but I will be waiting to see if this turns up on next gen or PC first. :)

Awesome.

But it may cost me my marriage :(

Yep, it seems odd that they wouldn't do that, especially as some of the earlier footage was clearly running on more powerful hardware.

Already got this pre-ordered and can't wait for it to come out. Always been a fan of the GTA games and it's never made me want to go out and do it in real life, like a lot of people claim whenever something tragic happens!! :dull:

I've always gone straight into the story modes but have been hooked on GTA IV online recently, so i can see me going straight into that when i get it. :)

I will pre order this when I have time. But first I have to shoot a pensioner from a helicopter,

do a drug deal, have sex with and then murder a prostitute stealing my money back from her

and then beat random pedestrians to death with a rather large purple dildo.

On a side note, I love the idea of wildlife being in the new game, that worked so well in red dead redemption

that I had a suspicion that it would be used somehow in the new GTA offering.

I loved GTA:VC and GTA:SA but really didn't like GTA;IV at all.

This looks far more likely to be up my street.

San Andreas p155ed me off because of one badly designed and coded mission. "all we had to do was follow the damn train CJ!" I spent HOURS trying to do it. All the fat man on the back of the bike had to do was shoot people on the train but he couldn't. I go throught it eventually, almost finished the game and the save corrupted.  :wall:   :@

I was a bit meh from watching the trailers but the gameplay vids look good.

Have finished IV and the biker and black dude addons (sure those aren't the official names)

Might have to go back and perservere with Red Dead Remption to get me warmed up for V

Or maybe drop in online and shoot John in the head ;)

Can't wait for this, i was 50/50 on it after watching the previous trailers but this will actually be amazing.

Looks bloody complex for a GTA!

Really hope it comes out for the PC!

Wonder what the requirements will be...

Phil

I don't think it will come out on PC for a while, even longer then it usually takes

Jusy like Sony and Microsoft, Rockstar will be concentrating on the next gen consoles, and maybe a re-release of GTA V with even better graphics some time next year, but not on the top of there list

This is one game I've been looking forward to for ages! Started playing GTA4 recently

Once i get my Xbox one i will buy it, looks great

I remember thinking when San Andreas came out on the PS2

that it was every game you needed all in one.

Driving, shooting, brawling, flying, skydiving, boats, motorbikes, gangs

customisable characters, great story, missions, turf wars, customisable cars

it even had some stats based content along with great visuals (for its time)

and a whole bunch of other stuff plus the slightly dark GTA humour.

It was the swan song for the PS2, it pushed the console as far as it could go

and sure enough, not much later PS3 came out.

This looks to be the PS3 equivalent, the one that maxes out the console

has more content than any other game available on there at the moment

and in a few months the PS4 gets launched. Yowza!

Looks too much for a game. It's become the Sims!

Would expect the next gen version to be written on PC's then downgraded for PS4. Hopefully won't take too long, though I can understand why they focus on consoles.

I downloaded it on the xbox the other week and for the first time ever ov nearly completed it without using a single cheat...although theres times i can feel my fingers itching to do the health cheat

Used to know the cheats off by heart at one point

I also thought GTV IV was a real disappointment after San Andreas, the latter may have suffered a lot of graphical issues pushing the dated hardware too much  but I loved the fact they packed in so much and made it all feel like a living, breathing world rather than just a city.  There was so much in the world you could easily lose hours without touching the story missions (as my brother he did, he played the game loads but never did a single story mission) and it was always entertaining to see other people's games as their character could look so different as well as having their own customised cars.  GTA IV in comparison felt like such a step back, it looked better but gameplay wise it was even more basic than the original GTA 3 in some areas, GTA V looks like a proper sequel.

I'd be surprised if the shots shown in that gameplay trailer were running on a PS3 or 360 due to the level of detail and the draw distances, I would have thought it's either PC or footage from an Xbox One/PS4.  Happy to be proved wrong on that though.
