New Octavia VRS Hillclimb Goodwood 2013

Oh yes!

Would have been good to actually hear the vrs!

Seems to have a fair bit of body roll too.

I couldn't get the link to work so I went onto Youtube & found this one,

My favourite bit is the man with the hosepipe.

edit : I just found the original video in the original post. Whatever they were chasing sounded great but do the marketing people really expect us to believe that the vRS had to brake again and again because it was catching the car in front?  More like they were following something more mundane, the soundtrack was added afterwards and the whole thing was choreographed.

Still it looked pretty good and cornered better than my Mk1 used to.  If it sounded like the car in the original video they'd be onto a winner.

On the Thursday after the release People driving/ having passenger rides were going round the track, but the cars were almost silent. Maybe they weren't being pushed?

Also I think one of the, came off the track. Not sure if it crashed/ was damaged at all

I got to go up in car one with my mate driving and it was very quiet. No noticeable body roll though

sounds pretty good to me, or is that the sound of the the vehicle in front doing the filming!?

I was there for the official world unveiling at goodwood, the skoda stand was awesome, also   to skoda for the hospitality lounge upstairs, they were giving away free refreshments, just what was needed on the hot days at goodwood.
