Featured Replies

Hi,

I just got the car back from workshop after replacement of the DPF. But the CEL still comes on after a short time.

Nope that's correct. They done away with the post dpf pressure line as really all it ever reads is atmosphere anyhow so its not really needed.

Are you sure about that? In the SSP336 it says they it is used to determine the amount of carbon soot in the filter.

The car is back in the workshop, hopefully they can fix it.

Yes I am sure of it. When they first deleted them I questioned it to technical. But think about it, what is the pressure the other side of the filter? Regardless of the filter being blocked or not its basically atmosphere so all in needs is a pressure signal before. If the filter gets blocked the pressure will rise compared to the other. Saves the post dpf line getting blocked and giving a false reading.
