Air Con only works on number 4

Hi

I'm new here but need your help.

My 2005 Octavia has a problem. The Air Conditioning only works when the dial is turned to number 4 (I think it something to do with the fan as its the same for the heating).

Number 1,2 and 3 on the dial do absolutely nothing!

Anyone got any ideas

Your resistor pack has broken.  Setting 4 is the "no resistance" setting. :)   Need a replacement resistor pack
