I want to kick people who sell cars badly.

Featured Replies

Is it just me or does it really annoy anyone else on here when people do a **** job of selling their car? or anything for that matter.

Here i am looking to buy a nice motor for the summer and some **** ruins it because he cant muster the intelligence to string together a sentence, or even spell.
not thinking about who wants to buy it bothers me as well. It comes across as a nice straight car and a lot of people who love muscle cars will want this because its a manual yet he thinks people will buy it with that ****ing black wall tunnel of a exhaust on the back of it, its not even a jap car!

Just take a look:

"hi saleing my Ford mustang V6 3.8.  in good condition and running order, rare manual gearbox.  runs smooth,  recent new windscreen and rubber, due to stone chip/crack, new set of  lowering springs fitted.  only saleing because car not big enough for family and new hobby and cant afford two cars.   in lovely red metallic paint really shines, stands out.  interior good conditions, tyres have good tread,   door / alarm remote all working. M.O.T runs out in Aug, i have no worrys that it will fly through next one,  tax runs out Dec 13.. thanks for looking, any question or need a view please contact.me   . In Weymouth, Dorset.  regards andy"

Just thought I'd have a grumble as every time i find one i want, I'm put off by the seller :(

Although the grammar is not perfect , however the car looks ok ?

I can never understand why anyone would buy a v6 mustang, The v8 costs very little more to run. Plus you might get upset when other mustang owners wind you up lol. Couple of friends have that shape mustang, one a blue v8 convertible which he imported himself, he also owns a newer shaped red v8 convertible. My other friend used to have a v6 which although looked good he couldn't get rid of, he now has a black v8 and says he should of brought a v8 in the first place as it costs no more to run and it sounds like a proper mustang. From going to a few shows with them, anyone with a v6 had a bit of fun made of them, and we're abit touchy lol

Agree that it's a fairly pants advert that must have taken all of 3.5 minutes to write and that if I were selling my car I'd spend a bit more time and effort on a decent advert as I think it'd help get a sale however I must point out the following:

The start of your second sentence needs a capital "O" for "or";

Capital "I" when you refer to oneself;

"Cant" traditionally has an apostrophe for omission after the "n";

Capital "N" for "not" at the start of that sentence too;

"an" exhaust not "a" exhaust.

HTH.

That's pretty well constructed if you've ever read some of the adverts on Swapz :)

Do you mean you want to kick people who don't sell cars very well

or

do you mean that you really, really want to kick people who sell cars?

Or that you want to kick them but in a generally ineffective way? Ah, the joy of the English language!

Do you mean

No, you don't want us to let up on you a bit.

or

No, you don't want us  to break an arm or a leg?

Problem lies with portable media devices. You're only ever one auto spell away from looking a right retard

It's not your car or add, so what's the problem. If the car is what you want, what does it matter how they they wright it up.

Anything post 1967 is the worst looking Mustang.
