Auto dimming mirror Gentex GENK2 with VW windscreen adapter

This is a retail version of the mirror and is similar to the auto-dimming mirrors fitted in VW group cars (same manufacturer) however the mounting is different -most VW group cars with this type of mirror also have rain sensors etc behind the mounting, this one will fit in to a normal car on to the standard mounting boss. Included are the instruction manual and wiring loom.

I'm trading in my Fabia tomorrow and some of the after-market bits I have fitted are getting removed and I'm offering them for sale. I can post but thought it would be easier if anyone interested who is coming to the Mega Meet on Sunday could collect them.

***Edit the model is GENK2A -don't know if this makes any difference -Also forgot to say that the telescopic cable cover is also included in the sale (hides the cable as it goes in to the head-liner) -I had to obtain this part separately.***

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. Being a big Skoda fan, I joined Briskoda in 2008, I have always promoted Skodas as my companies first choice engineers car primarily the Superb Estate. And they have always been reliable and capable. When I first got me 2017 Superb I connected me iPhone 13 via usb to get CarPlay then I bought this dongle and have been using it ok for a month, I got into the car the other day and CarPlay wouldn’t work I tried unplugging the dongle restarting the car deleting phone and all profiles and removing connections from the phone and car, I’ve sent the dongle back but pay car won’t connect to the phone via car play , the usb cable (that has worked before) charges the phone Can anyone suggest what I c

Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak.
