312mm Brake Setup Question

Featured Replies

Is there a paint code or something for this paint? or is there just one smooth green hammerite.

Also what sort of prep is required?

Hammerite can be applied directly onto the caliper/carrier alloy.

Oh, and I gave mine a quick short spray of lacquer from very close range to attempt to seal it a bit - should be OK without to be honest, but it should last a little longer with a coat of lacquer AND hopefully clean easy too. :)

Nah they suck - needs more hammerite

Trying to work out what they'd look like with just a coat of hammerite applied with a brush...?

I can't go to the expense of using an airbrush and stuff, especially as the wheels are worth sweet F.A. in current form (two pairs of unmatching tatty wheels. :o)
