As my octavia is now sold, this is surplus to requirements, I have just erased my file so its ready for the next owner to use... comes with everything needed, I never actually remapped my car with it, just used it as a code reader, I paid £75 for it from here a few months ago, so lets say £70 posted recorded delivery, or £60 collected from Durham

Sorry if this may sound stupid, but what is a tuning box, can it add some extra horses to my MK1 Octy VRS?

I have just Googled it and a Youtube clip came up.  Is this the same one as you have and do you have all the leads etc for it?  Also as I did not buy it from Shark will they want money to Email me the mapped software?

you buy the tuning box, Shark sell them for £150. and then once you have the tuning box you contact shark and they can map your car (for a fee) without you going to them, this is what it says about it on there site

The STS allows you to switch between your standard and modified ECU map in minutes, and thanks to the intuitive user interface it is simple to use. Also included with the STS unit is an immobiliser function which will disable the engine altogether, meaning the engine will not run even with the keys!

It will work with any car that can mapped via the OBD2 port.

The performance maps themselves are going to cost £400 to £600 on top.

Very interested in this.  If I buy it off you and Email my Octy VRS standard map to Shark will they Email me a re-mapped version back or will I need to pay for them to do this?

this is the tuning box, you would need to pay for the tune, if you join up to freedom on here you will get 10% off of there remaps though, which is a bigger saving than freedom itself costs..
