Help ! bumper problem and head light drama

Featured Replies

Hi my first question is i converted my head lights to xenon 6000k kit works fine no bulb light out problems now im not sure but im sure when on main beam the lights were fine (poor memory lol) Now its just been in to Skoda for the injectors and dpf sensor and programing now when i put my lights on there fine till i put the main beam on the zenon lights both sides just flicker till its put back on to dip beam any ideas?

Next on the rear bumper on the sides does the bumper slide in to the rail or sit against it? pic s would be great.

I had that on a set do this on my Octavia before they finally gave up the ghost. I then brought an expensive set from Hids4u and they lasted for 3 years. When a bulb went after 1.5yrs they gave me a discount code to replace it anand so swapped to 5000k. Best colour I found and I've done 4300k, 5000k and 6000k.

Mines done that but straight after i fitted them never got a bulb warning worked fine for so long then flickered/danced fitted a couple of hid cancelers and all was fixed got mine for free. But think there cheap on ebay

You don't mention age and model.

When you originally fitted the HIDs, did you have the settings changed via vcds?

If the garage reprogrammed your ecu during the course of the work they did, they will likely have just used the standard coding.

Before my car was correctly coded for HID when I went to main beam occasionally the left hid light flickered and then went out, but only sometimes.

Once coded under the 09 central module I have never had a problem. I would suggest having the car correctly coded unless you have done so already and then go from there. If it doesn't cure your issue it's most likely a faulty ballast / hid burner.
