Technical Product Information 2028408/1

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where there is a list of these ?? Today my 2012 Roomster has had TPI 2028408/1 applied to correct bizarre

rear window behaviour -  passenger rear window ajar first thing in a morning and when switch applied to close, window goes up and down and refuses to close. Eventually this seems to reset itself but has happened on two occasions and I am concerned about this major

security issue.   My dealer tells me that they have fixed a felt strip on the window but I cannot see how this will affect this

problem - how does the window open itself if it is a window which is rarely used anyway. I have read on this very useful forum

of the bizarre window behaviour seemingly caused by wiring loom breakages, relay faults etc. Is this a problem I am going

to have to contend with during the life of this vehicle ???

On my Roomster the strangeness is down to the anti-trap function. there is a section in your manual about resetting this. Essentially the window thinks something is trapped (a hand, head, child etc) and opens a small amount to release it.

I really hope this action is meant to finally fix a rare but hideous problem
