buying 2 cars at same time, big discount?

Featured Replies

Both me and my dad are interested in getting a yeti. If two where bought at the same time from same dealer would you get a significant discount?

I doubt it but you can ask & see.

You can always ask.

You won't get a significant discount IMO (unless you are not very good at haggling on one Yeti) but it's nice to get a bit more off when buying a pair.

Lol did you get 2?

Lol did you get 2?

Yes, one for me (170 diesel 4x4) and one for my wife (1.2tsi DSG).

at the end of the day there is only so much margin in each car, you might get a little more off each one buying two at once but dont expect loads

You dont ask, you dont get. Go with your dad and see what kind of deal you can haggle.

I was buying a car at the same time as a mate and we asked. We were told there would be a bigger discount but not much. and we would have been on totally separate finance deals etc.

In the end he bought a Mazda and I bought the VRS.

Don't ask, don't get. It's always worth a chat with the manager. I bought an expensive road bicycle a few years ago and a cheap mountain bike for the Mrs, I got them to give me a third mountain bike for me (men's version of her's) for free. You should be able to get something.

I do believe there are a few Yeti models that are actually in stock in various garages and some do discount to a reasonable degree.

The week before last a friends brother walked into our local Skoda dealer just to look over and find out a few facts about the Yeti 4 x 4s the following week he picked up a brand new 170 in white.

This is a great difference to the time most Yeti owners had to wait for delivery

Also reading a couple of posts on this forum some discount can now be expected, could be because a revamp is due late this year or early next.

Don't be afraid to shop around and be prepared to travel to get best deal.

Good idea to wait for newer model, as the dealers will be eager to shift existing stock you may get a blinding deal.
