UK Government bonkers Double Yellow suggestion.

It's the silly season, so no surprises daft ideas like this float to the top. It just needs a review of the yellow lines that are in place now and remove those which are not necessary and enforce those that are. One local town by me has double yellows on 1 side of a one way high st and parking on the other. It's 2 lanes and morons started abusing the yellows so when people tried to either park or leave from the opposite side of the street it bought the whole town to a standstill with the traffic often reduced to a crawl for about a mile in all routes to the high street. Problem is these fools who come up with these daft ideas don't have to drive every day like the rest of us.
