wrong petrol or coil pack miss fire

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I've been driving my car on shell vpower and changed to there normal 95 as didnt think the vpower was right fuel as its not a 98 ron.

But the last couple of months the car seems to miss fire or shoulders under hard excellerating.

Is this down to the fule or down to one of the coil packs I changed three to bosh but one is still the original.

Any help or ideas would be great

Coilpack.

Thanks got to get one

Do you you think the new vpower would damage the engine as its classed at a 99ron not 98

No I run that on my VRS fine.

You just need a new coilpack mate

Cool is the new vpower any good as the shell nolonger have tje vpower it the newer vpower nitro

Practically the same stuff, just a marketing ploy. Yes, it is 99 Ron so is ideal because the car is rated at 98 Ron so it is more than enough. It won't make it run worse. Running on 95 will probably make a difference.

I have a 98 specific and 95 Ron specific map so it does make a difference.
