Hi Gents!

First post on here as I am picking up my first skoda on Friday! FL VRS TDI can't wait!

Anyway quick question for you, the car I have bought has the silver gear knob, I was also looking at a newer( 62 reg) VRS at the time and the gear knob was different like a gloss black and a totally different shape.

Has anybody swapped there's for the newer type ?,

Is there anywhere inparticular that will stock it?

Just Order one off skoda. For a 2012 Vrs. Prob about 70 pounds.

I swapped the newer type for a Audi S line one...way better and only £30 notes off ebay

Out of interest, how easy is it to fit one of these and what S-line parts are compatible?

If happy with the gear knob itself, I believe you can change the silver insert for a black one, which you can purchase from a dealer. There's is a thread on how to change them over on here. Just do a search.
