I have done the mic and bluetooth install (I wrote the how to). I have fitted the footwell lights. Interested to see how you get on with the autolights.

I can't be bothered to remove the door cards to fit the LED handle lights.

I am thinking of fitting a flashing third brake light mod (saw it on a fabia at the meet).

Thanks for the how to, I followed it to the letter (well apart from forgetting to remove one of the screws from the glovebox - and I don't think the how to including 'Swear profusely at inanimate objects') - I'm a little skeptical over the Auto Lights, I'd have much preferred to go OEM but it seemed like a massive PITA

I was under the impression that it's only the handle that needs to come out rather than the whole door card, although maybe I haven't done as much research as I thought! haha!

I'm not sure about the flashing brake light mod, I've only ever seen it on Saxos / Corsas ....... which immediately turns me off the idea!  Be interesting to see how it's done though!

I will have to find out as if it's a simple mod it might be worth doing. Where did you order the bits from?

I got the bits from Skodaparts.com, I think they can be sourced a tiny bit cheaper but was ordering the Auto Light Switch anyway.  Only ordered the fronts £29.53 inc p&p

http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/85636-add-an-illumination-in-internal-door-handle-from-lk-to-vrs/  Is where the best information is!

ps. don't ask why the driver and passenger lamps are different prices! ;)

It's really not too hard as long as you take a few safety precautions and err on the side of safety.

I have two controllers for sale if you need one and they are compatible with your car. They are listed in the 'For Sale' section.

Arrived this morning, so i'll have a look at fitting tomorrow.  Reading up on it - the CH/LH isn't great (CH just tricks the car into thinking that the side lights have been left on for 30secs, and the LH doesn't work at all on the Octy) - but auto is what I was after, so i'll let you know tomorrow!

Oh I was kinda hoping that the CH/LH would work a well as the autolights. I wait for your comments.
