As for tyres, if i did another day, I'd be doing it with different tyres. I'm looking into a set of wheels to put some cheap 225s on which I will use for dry trackdays. The rainsports did get very hot but appear to have held up well to what little driving I did in the dry. I was amazed how little understeer I got.

I did that for CC in April, night before stay over and then drive home with less than adequate brakes after the event !! 

 

 I will have a discussion with the boss and see if I can go, after all it is her car

Don't drink that stuff.  Water and fruit keeps me awake.

 

There is good call for track wheels.  Just a cheap pair of 17s - I use team dynamics ones but the 6 spoke TT alloys are plentiful, and just keep part worn decent rubber on them  

I have acquired a set of wheels. Now to find tyres.


Good call on the Red Bull, I try to stay away but it doesn't always work. Caffeine fix needed sometimes.
