Rio Red Metallic

Featured Replies

Well I like it a lot - nicely understated and not a hint of midlife crisis which some of the more in your face colours suggest. Great looking car I think.

Here's my Rio Red vRS  TSi. It looks great, I don't know why everyone is doubting the colour on the vRS. It looks mean with the black pack.

I like :)

I need a much better lit picture to get a more informed opinion on whether I like it or not.

From what I see of it at the moment it reminds me of my late grans awful bathroom suite!

Its a bit brown/orange.... would probably suite an elegange....

I quite like that, didn't SEAT have that colour a few years ago? Bilberry Red Metallic or something like that was it?

Picked up my petrol vrs dsg estate in rio red yesterday but not really had a chance to play yet.

More than happy with the colour. It has to be seen in the flesh as none of the photos i've seen do it justice. It is one of those colours that changes with the light. It can be everything from a rather flat brick red to a wonderful almost coppery orange colour. Looks best to me on the standard anthracite geminis

Anyone got more pics of this? Thinking about an elegence estate in Rio Red for next car

And one more...

Thanks for posting the pictures, the black pack seems to suit it quite well but I need to see a car in the flesh before I decide what to order!

Enjoy your new car, DC.

Thanks Suzshe, the colour looks great in those pics.

Just save the files in PUBLIC folder on Dropbox and apply the browser links to files (in our Dropbox public folder) to this site.

Thanks for that, might have to get some help from my kids with that - sounds complicated!

Hopefully picking up my Rio Red vRS Hatch in a few weeks. I will have a go at posting some photos. But I have seen an Audi TT in virtually the same colour and I think it looks good.

I think the first three show the colour change when the sun is on the car and the fourth one shows how it looks in the shade. It also goes a real copper colour under our streetlights.

I really like the different shades it can display.

I agree that it looks great with black trim, better than with chrome.

I also think the anthracite wheels look good with it too, I'm tempted to get mine done next year.
