Featured Replies

I've just seen a local registration dealer advertising this, I thought it looks brilliant.

Not sure if I'm allowed to give more details so pm me if you want a phone number.

I tried to buy it there and was told its already owned, apparently the prices listed on most websites it the uk say everything is £250 but most aren't that price or are not available.

Ladyvienna ive sent you a pm

Is 53 not ment to be 2003.

I think you can put it on any car as long as its not older than 2003. This is something to do with not trying to pass a car off as newer than it actually is.

Correctly displayed it's VR53 OCT. Still pretty good at that.

Sarge.

You are legally allowed to put a standard number plate (age related)on your car, as long as it is not newer than the vehicle

I.e. you can put a 1984 registration plate on your 2013 car but you cannot put a 2013 plate on your 1984 classic car for example.

There are many age related number plates still available to be registered, so yes "53" technically denotes a year of 2003/04 but it may still be available as it never got used in that registration period..
