I just run V12 amp that I blagged for 20 quid and a sub.

Years ago I spent about 5k. Which back then didn't get you much to be honest.

Best part is I ain't even got a photo of the install.

Its all still working in a mates mk2 golf .

I've always just been a happy bodger of car stero, but ebay does allow you lay your hands of some very nice kit for peanuts

Got my eye on a jl xd600/6 on ebay if that fails go with double set up like ur's

have had two of the wxv2's in a sealed box and they were hooked to my jx 500 watt amp and they were pretty good in my honda. but due to sealed box being too big plus not setup correctly they didnt last long. so best advice is to get one or two of them in jl's own sealed box. am currently running the 12inch version of the w0v3 at 4ohm on the same amp in jl's own box and had no problems. just wondering more power !!! lol!!

As for the xd's they are great as are so small and give good power for it

Theres some new ones in the state that im looking forward to

1 of which is a xd1000/5 which is my 2 combined but abit smaller

Best idea is get ur amp so u know what power you have at what ohms

Then sub hunt

If a w3v3 pops up cheap they use small boxes and are u.s made not china , the quality and output jumps

I have faith in all jl products tho
