What's the biggest size wheel and tyre that can be fitted on normal suspension.

I'm not thinking of dropping it so give me a clue people.

If you're not going to lower, stick to 16" imo

 

Even 17's make it look like a Yeti unless you lower so anything bigger will just be silly

18's can fit but they look horrendous even on coilovers!

Stick to 16's if your not lowering

Cheers guys, not after doing a bone shaker plus on a limited budget. May look into lowering it eventually.

lowering doesn't have to have a negative effect on ride

This is mine with 17" mk2 Fabia alloys

Think I may have been convinced on lowering it ever so slightly and keeping the standard 16's now.

Decided to lower it, Apex springs in the way with 30mm drop

Apex will give a shocking ride in my experience. 

 

I'd reccommend AP Springs & Shocks or  Eibach.
