Initially car was on a variable service management plan but after I took ownership (July 2011) I swapped to fixed service intervals.

I’ve owned the car since July 2011 and it has been the main means of transport for my partner and I. I must admit I did under estimate the mileage we’d cover when we bought it but even so, the mileage is still a lowly 61,400 miles (slight variation as still in use). As can be seen above the car was very low mileage from new. It had Lifeshine applied at new and again when I bought it in July 2011. I have continued to regularly keep the paintwork in good condition. The cambelt was changed prior to purchase in July 2011 @ 26,608 miles.

 

Following advice from here I swapped to fixed service intervals in order to keep the engine in tip top condition. The engine oil level is checked regularly but it has never been excessive in consumption. Fuel consumption hovers around 30mpg, and I have logged a comprehensive number of miles on fuelly, which you can access via my signature.

 

The car remains mechanically standard with only 6 modifications during my ownership:

• vRS decals on brake callipers
  
• Bolero headunit (including new Canbus unit)
  
• SuperSkoda honeycombe grille (I have the original)
  
• Stubby aerial from VW Polo
  
• Genuine SKODA rear mudflaps
  
• PastyBoy badges on the wheels. I went for the black/silver badge, much like the new one. 
  

Also included in the sale are the dog guard and boot protector which I have. Boot floor is in really good condition under the mat. I also have some Thule roofbars which can be included in sale if desired for the right price.

 

The tyres are all Avon ZZ3s. 3 are new and were fitted on 11/06/13 @ 60,054 miles. I have had the console bushes replaced recently too on 24/07/13 @ 60,851 miles. All new brakes (discs and pads) since January. Tax has just been renewed too. This car really is good to go.

 

Unfortunately the lacquer is peeling on the rear spoiler. I have purchased some high-quality carbon fibre wrap and it was my intention to wrap the spoiler. Willing to include this in the same. The bodywork is in a generally good condition but there are some marks to the front of the car from stone chips/flies/etc. There is a scuff on the rear bumper, a small scratch on the front bumper and also a scratch on the rear door where someone hit it in a car park.

 

I genuinely believe this is a very good condition car and has come from a loving home. My partner and I are members of Briskoda (freedom) and also the Skoda Owners Club G.B., the car has featured in a few issues of the SOCGB magazine too. Last year we took the Octavia round Europe and stopped off at the Skoda factory – so she has been home. I must confess to being absolutely in love with this car but unfortunately it doesn’t fit in to my lifestyle anymore and so I think the time has come to let it go and allow someone else to enjoy it.

 

Both keys are present. I am willing to deliver if buyer covers costs. Viewing is welcome. Please note that I work away for 2 weeks at a time. Please be aware finance is still outstand on the car – through VW Financial Services. If desired, the buyer can pay the remaining balance directly to VWFS to avoid concerns of fraud etc.

This is the scrap to the rear bumper. Its under the car and only visible if you know it is there. I've just taken this picture in the rain so it isn't great. It looks like the bumper is cracked but I can assure you that it isn't; that's a piece of plastic under the car.
