Citigo bootliner fitted with top dog pics

Featured Replies

Finally got around to collecting my Rhino bootliner, custom made for the Citigo at their workshop near Hinckley. Fits like a dream with velcro, some velcro stick on tabs on some of the exposed paintwork, and 2 elasticated straps around the rear headrests. I haven't actually used all of the velcro provided, but it's there if you need it. The thing is beautifully made and stiched. Tons of colours available, but I settled for the grey to match the bootlining. My two precious passengers seem to love it very much. I will be fitting a lower cushion when they're actually in transit, although you can buy the liners padded at extra cost.

I hope you remove the hat stand before you take the dogs in the car. We have a very similar liner in the Scenic. Cost £10 in Halfords.

I had a Rhino with the padded base made for a Volvo I used to have. There is simply no comparison between these and the off the shelf numbers from Halfords or similar. The quality is first rate and the fit is perfect, plus the Rhino guys can include anything that you want in to the design.

My only concern is that the Citigo boot is so deep your little guys won't be able to see out. One of my two doesn't like it if he can't see out and gets quite stressed

I can't believe anyone would compare a Rhino liner to those Halfords efforts!

The pooches have been used to travelling in a crate in the Fabia boot with no direct view out of the car for 2 years or so. However, short journeys only no more than 2 or 3 miles to the walking spots we use, so they're fine. Topsy, the white one has been a happy boot traveller like this since a pup.

I presume by hatstand you're talking about the parcel shelf, and yes, I would remove that if they were actually travelling anywhere - but thanks for your concern for my dogs welfare anyway.

Yes parcel shelf, I had a mental blank. The Halfords boot liner has done its job protecting the Scenics boot from two often muddy black labs. I am sure the Rhino is better quality, but is that extra quality actually needed.

Try getting a Halfords liner to fit your Citigo -not going to happen is it? The Rhino guys make stuff to fit perfectly with millimetre precision:

The pooches look happy.

Just thinking about these I could do with an all in one cover for the back seat and footwells for the rear. Taking my grandkids to footie training/park they don't half make a mess in there. I have a settee throw on the seat and two sets of mats down, the mucky pups. Grass, sweets, chocolate etc you name it, I just about manage to keep it looking good in the rear but those covers look ace.

What's the going rate to have them made?

Like Greenstripe says - give them a ring. I was thinking of trying to get something going with Colin/Briskoda and see if Rhino are interested regarding club discount - I'd have thought there would be a decent spread of interest on here with plenty of Yeti/estate owners looking to preserve their interiors from muddy usage. Perhaps mention that you saw their product on here with my Citigo liner, as I only collected it on Monday afternoon.

To answer your question, they do all sorts of custom stuff, and I know that they provide a full liner for rear seats down etc, and also one that matches a split rear seat to go down . They even do one that can hang over the rear seats in case your dogs like to ride with their heads and front paws over the back of the rear seats and catch all that slobber!

These are the people I will be buying mine from when the new car arrives. The dog hair is literally ingrained in the side walls of the current car and is impossible to remove and I dont want that on the new car lol.

It might take a couple of weeks for them to make it for you, so I'd get it ordered before you get the car if I were you.

^^ Yep, that's what I did. They turned it around within a week, but they quote up to 2 weeks.

Thanks for the replies re the seat cover.

Son has a Labrador and occasionally I'm the taxi for him. He's never been in the Citigo yet, deffo wouldn't fit in the boot space, so on the back seat he would have to be, or the grandkids, but not all at once.
