Windscreen

Featured Replies

Hi

I have just had my windscreen replaced my original one was a floating windscreen but it has been replaced with one which has a rubber around the edge. Apparently they no longer produce the floating windscreen. Any one know if this is correct?

PS it is on a 56 plate fabia VRS

Had mine replaced and it has the rubber seal round it. Not sure if that helps you or not?

How much did you pay for the windscreen? Mines badly cracked and the excess on my insurance is £70 but not sure what their T&Cs are.

****! i just realised that i'm booked in for a new windscreen for tomorrow lol

I would have forgotten if i didn't see this thread right now

Seeing as the Mk1 Fabia has been out of production for all of these years, maybe they have run out of the original ones, can't beat the original but some of the ones they fit now are pretty much the same

I hope mine has a sunstrip

£125 with top tint. Used a local specialist rather than the large company's.
