Strut top bearing

Featured Replies

Decided to replace strut top bearing today.

When dismantling the top of the strut, the strut bearing (7) was at the bottom of the top spring plate (5), not on the top.

All the info I can find shows it at the top under the locking nut (9).

can someone confirm the order of spring top mount plate, bearing, nut, rubber mount top plate and nut?

The bearing should defo be as per pic buddy on top of the spring plate, not underneath it.

surprised you did not having turning issues. It left could seize bearing and maybe snap spring.

Oh by the way item 6 not used on VRS
