My wife is changing her car and likes a deal with 'free servicing'.  Can someone tell me if these deals cover the oil and filters etc or just the labour.  I know that this isn't a strictly Yeti question, but the Search box and Forums didn't produce an obvious alternative.

It normally covers parts and labour, or at least it did when I had it with my nissan.

Should cover routine service parts and labour e.g.oil and filters.  But will not cover consumables that just wear out such as brake pads and tyres.

It will pay for 3 normal services, at 10, 20 & 30k.

Anything extra needed that isn't covered under warranty isn't covered.

I haven't had to pay anything extra for mine over 40,000 miles.

I wonder if I'll get a nice tin of boiled sweets with every service like I used to with my Honda Accord? Maybe the large amounts of moolah that this servicing cost tells me that a 3 years free servicing deal doesn't include sweeties! 'The missus and the kids always used to swipe them anyway.

I still get mine washed and hoovered out,with all the coffee I can drink.

The only difference from a pay yourself service,is you have to pay a small payment if you want to book a loan car.

My three year servicing deal ("free" with finance package) covers exactly the same items as paid-for services, PLUS a brake fluid change after two years,  which would be an "extra" on top of a normal service.  Free collection and delivery of car,  or courtesy car, also included,  as it would be on a normal service at my dealer.

I don't have a service plan (Wouldn't be applicable due to my annual mileage, anyway) but I get a FREE loan car every time my car goes into the dealers.

Obviously more "turned-on" dealers in Wales.

The point I was making is that people can and possibly should still get a free loan car with their free servicing plan, not to assume it costs extra.

I assumed this would be a helpful answer.

Rest assured Marie, there are some people on this forum who appreciate your comments and advice. Many thanks for your pictures and experience when applying the decals to your vehicle. I'm tempted to order some for my white Yeti which will hopefully be due at the start of November.......
