Exhaust Questions....

hi Adrian,

I am still in two minds about this, I have considered getting a set of rs bumpers, they should fit I think, luckily butts is only about half an hourish from me so i can pop in, they do the front bumper for 115 quid, so they should be able to get the rear as well..I really like the look of the rs, but after seing the pics off Nicks car I am quite impressed with the subtle look...but again no cut out in the bumper, so I will probably go the imposter rs route (waiting for the exclaimations of disgust from the rs purists...lol)

and tailor the tailpipe to fit the existing gap, initially the tailpipe will just be clamped on behind the back box so if I change my mind or there is a problem with clearance etc I can change it, the dimensions of a tailpipe has a lot to do with the sound of the exhaust and fine tuning it to combat droning and volume will involve taking it off and putting it on a lot before finally welding it on permanantly, whew sorry rambling on again, erm the answer I guess is out of a cut out...

cheers Fram
