the return of scrutineer

Featured Replies

dont suppose many people remember me but i  used to be a regular "a few years " ago :hi:

had a octy vrs company car then changed jobs so lost the vrs and i wandered off into a world of toyotas

i was  also a MSA scrutineer involved in allsorts including F1, time attack and drift but retired to live in Orkney

well i obviously liked the octavia cos i've just bought 8 of them!!!!  all diesels ...

......when i bought half of the biggest taxi company in Orkney. quite a lot of my role will be managing and expanding the fleet so i'm bound to be lurking here looking for cures for the sort of problems 400,000+ mile octavias get and later on  i may also be looking for cheap high mileage cars to buy as well - must be silver and diesel though

Welcome back.

Welcome back.

400,000 miles on Orkney! How many times around the islands is that?

Welcome back. Sounds like my sort of retirement!

Hi, welcome back.

Is it 400,000+ miles for the whole fleet?

Welcome back :D

Welcome again from me too. :) My youngest brother lives near Dounby - which to me is in the middle of nowhere. He and his Dutch wife absolutely love the outdoor life available in Orkney.

Welcome back

nope thats on one car - i think theres one with 400K + and 2 with 300K +

wonder if skoda will buy them back for quality research to see how they have survived? ;)

Keep them till 500000 :D. The most miles ive heard on a car before yours was 300000 on an octavia :)
