Replaced plugs and new red coils but in still like a Kangaroo

Will have to admit defeat. If I take it to a main stealer will they just scan for fault codes?

Any other cheap bright ideas?

I had a bad case of the "stutters" in my Alfa GTV years ago, and following a spot of browsing on the forum learned that splits in the inlet manifold trunking caused this problem. After checking mine, I found a split in the plastic, and wrapped black insulating tape neatly around it, went out for a drive, and the car was smoother than the day I bought it.

I believe that this problem can affect many cars which have an abundance of brittle plastic used in a hot environment.

It may be worth checking first before shelling out cash for a full forensic investigation.

The air in take etc?

The advice I offered previously still stands. And yes, a dealer should be willing to put your car on their diagnostic kit and scan for fault codes.

If this was my car I would get it scanned for fault codes before replacing parts. Have a look at the list of members with VCDS in the thread below to see if there is anyone local to you who might be willing to scan the car for you.

You are right but I am in Belgium temporarily and language is Dutch so hard to explain.

Sometimes it's the way it has to be.

Throwing parts at a car isn't cheap either.
