Funny I wanted my Yeti to look like an FL Outdoor in 2010!

Featured Replies

I had made the attached file in 2010 before I got my Yeti to show the dealer what I wanted colour coded on the rear bumper.  They found this impossible to do and as you all know my car's rear bumper is still dead standard and unpainted.  I wanted the car so did not push this in the end.

Interesting how this rear bumper treatment would have looked 95% like the new FL Yeti Outdoor's!   :giggle:

I get a 'file damaged and could not be repaired' error, Johann :(

I'm not sure the 'plastic' used for the rear bumper on the existing car would retain paint very well, would have been easily marked, unlike the harder plastic valance at the front of the Yeti. I would imagine the FL Yeti uses a new material on the colour keyed versions

That's why the dealer was unwilling to do this.  BUT then some people managed to do things like this (if you throw money at it).
