Thanks for posting.. Was also considering these.. SuperSkoda.com right?

I am not sure they are for me.. But again.. Taste is individual.. :-)

Were they easy to mount?

Do you have any further details... which website? How much?

Cheers.

Just seen the previous post..... How much for P&P?

I went for the UP clear film protection for mine. You have to look hard to see its on the car. Mind you it was £26.00

I think that looks really good. I thought it was body coloured from the first picture, but I can see how it really stands out in the side view picture. Very individual.

Does it protect the edge of the trunk and the inside as well, or just the part of the bumper shown on the picture?

Just the part you can see.

Has anyone done on thing to protect the metal on the inside of the trunk and the edge? If you ask me it's just waiting to be scratched :-(

Like when you're loading something into the back of the car?

I've already put some soundproofing material on the sides and intend to do the same to the rear panel after I've decided what to fill the rear panel void with. I'm waiting for a package to come with polystyrene pieces as packing then I'll seal up the holes and put soundproofing sheet on it.

Hmm, was thinking more in the line of something see through, as I like the color being there :-)

Just get some clear sticky backed vinyl and cut out shapes to suit the panels. That will offer some basic scratch resistance :)

Does anyone have a decent link for this? I think I need one -  My dogs have a tendency to leap out using the bumper as a springboard before I get the tailgate up fully and pull the protector lip out, and their claws make a tapping noise on the paintwork that makes me wince every time!

The part number for the clear film I put on our Citigo is VW part No. 1S0 061 197 Transparent sill protector film for the UP. You can order this from your Skoda dealer at around £26.00.

It come in a tube with everything you need. Just peal off the film backing and use the spray to wet the film. Place it in position and then wipe over with the supplied spatula to get the bubbles out.

PS

It only protects the external lip and front edge of the bumper. However there is plenty of film on Fleabay you could use for the inside?

Thanks Owens!

Glad you like it.

It fits my philosophy of silent yet functional e.g. you don't know its there yet it does the job? I like the same with cars that look normal yet go like a bullet out of a gun rather than all show and noise but no go?

Like a citigo sport you mean?.........

Hehe all show no go (well compared to a 75ps elegance!)

I shall get my coat damo!

Hmmmm...

Is that worth an instant ban or just a warning point :D

Hehe I can become a freedom member to make up!

It's probably the only thing that can save you now haha
