People's strange parking habits

Featured Replies

Parked up the Monte in the local Tesco car park for usual early morning weekend shop; avoid the crowds latter on. So obviously the car park was near half empty.

Come back to the car to find a Mitsubishi squeezed between our car and a shopping trolley park sitting over a no parking cross hatch area and theres still plenty of proper bays left to choose from. As you can see from the photo there was no room to get out/in the passenger sides of the cars.

Have to admit a neat bit of parking but why :wonder:

Hi I had this happen to me 3 month ago he was parked even closer I climbed in through passenger side and got my car out just as the idiot came back I said to him you could left me a bit more room to get in mate all I got was a load of abuse .

So it just goes to show even you park miles from any body else in the the car park idiots are naturally drawn to park close to your pride and joy.

You'd be amazed how much trouble people will take to avoid having to walk ten extra metres into a shopping centre: hovering around while someone puts shopping in their car, circling around and around, parking in strange places... That's if they don't want to park next to my car, which is usually in the far corner of the carpark, surrounded by dozens of empty bays.

I get this more times than I can remember, it's like my choice to park far far away from anyone seems some nonce thinks it's fine to park next to me, badly at that! I really question the brain power of some people!

I intentionally park in the further spot away from supermarkets.

It's empty, nobody (well mostly nobody) parks like idiots and there's a lower risk of getting the car dinged.

Also, the 2 minutes spent walking to the shop is saved by not having to try parking for 10 minutes trying to get close to the shop!

You should follow this link and print a few of these off to leave in your car for future use.

It's all covered here

Not safe for work...

I think I might just have worked out what his favorite word is! :)

Where are them Monte Carlo mud flaps from? Might need some of them in my life.

There are people like us who like to park in the farthest reaches of car parks to avoid damage and there are others with some kind of herd instinct/OCD that must park neatly beside whatever car is there even in a deserted car park. The times I've returned to my remotely parked car to find some numpty parked next to me in an otherwise virtually empty car park has lead me to believe my vehicle has magnetic properties.

A couple of years ago i picked up my new fabia done 15 miles and went to asda parked up away from anyone and as me and the wife got out. A car parked in front of us. But to judge the space in front of him he bounced off the front of my car and stopped. I said to him you just hit my car he said i always do that and he walked off.

we were stunned

When some people go shopping they leave there brain at home.
