Would love a vrs but too much money at the moment, forgot to say I've already fitted a vrs spoiler and carbon wrapped it and fitted led number plate lights at the same time as the interior lights, been thinking of a remap, I'm in North Yorkshire is there any recommended places up this way for remaps, been looking at wheels aswell but not sure where to eat then from or what style?

In mansfield theres shark performance, very good at what they do well worth a trip from north yorkshire.

It's only bout 90mins away, had a look at their website, will definitely be getting it done there

2.0 tdi

Trade it in for a vRS? :)

Nah, get a 2.0 L & K, then a Shark remap. You can have all the toys and the power. ;) :p :p

Good ideas but I'm more than happy with the elegance, still want a remap at shark though, just want other ideas for mods really

I have to agree with the remap at Shark, I took my 54 plate Elegance to them last year for a new turbo (stage 1), and had the EGR deleted, Cat removed and remap. The difference is very noticeable. The car is much smoother to drive and the day to day economy has improved!

Remove back box and resonator from exhaust doesnt make it any louder but gives a more powerfull noise when accelerating.

New or wrap front grill

Mk1 vrs spoiler makes it stand out when with other mk2s that have the mk2 vrs spoiler fitted

I've put a new colour coded debadged front grill on and carbon wrapped a mk2 vrs spoiler

If the debadged front grill looks like the Superskoda effort, the jury will be out as to whether it's an improvement or not

Have you got pictures?

It didn't get it from superskoda but I'm sure opinions will still be divided wether it looks good or not, personally I like it, there's just too much chrome on the original and the badge ages the car too much,

Have had chance to get any pics yet as the cars in for a paint repair under warranty

I do like it with the badge, but I'm wanting to go for a kind of stealthy look, where has the jps theme idea come from?

Don't know about Brimma but back in the day(now showing my age) the JPS F1team was my fav and black and gold go well together

The Lotus 72 was the best looking Formula 1 car of its generation, so having a black car, gold trim seemed quite a natural progression, leading to going from this.....
