Roomster LPG Conversion

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've just purchased a new Roomster and am considering converting it to LPG via a company called Prins (located in Eindhoven, NL).

Has anyone done this to their own Roomster?

One major concern is how it will affect the 5 year warranty from Skoda, does anyone have any information on this?

If anyone has any other general information about LPG conversions I would be glad to hear from them!

Regards

Brian

Check out all Koolibah's posts in the Citigo forum.

He's just had lpg fitted to his Citigo and it looks real neat.

(Quick Edit: posted on 4th august, fitted by Bewickmobility.)

I didn't think that the TSi petrol engines could be converted to LPG because of the direct fuel injection.

If it is possible then you can wave goodbye to any warranty on engine components.

Really interesting idea Brian - how much does it cost approximately to get the conversion? (ok, I see , about 1200?)

Ian - you got a link to the Citigo conversion? (ok, I got it! http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/283851-citigo-lpg/ )

eccleshill: I've got a '56 1.4 petrol, could I get the conversion on mine?

cheers all!
