Replica alloys

Featured Replies

I had TT reps on a Golf, they were very heavy compared to standard and were not very robust. They were 18" wheels running 40 profile tyres, the inner rims were damaged easily on speed bumps the rectangle sort you can straddle. As a result of the rim damage making the wheel out of round the bead of the tyre could not make a seal leading to flat and soft tyres and ultimately weighing them in for £55 for 4 last week.

The above is my experience of reps and may not be what others have experienced.

I have replica RS 5 spokes , no problems so far , been on nearly two years now. But never used that brand , got mine through my local wheel and tyre guy ( Wheelpower, Brockey ) and trusted his judgement when i bought mine. Have got wheels from them for years and no issues with quality so far.

If you want a set of these scirocco type wheels ever though of looking for an original used set ?

Also good thing about my reps , they were lighter than my 18" Neptunes.
