Featured Replies

I have had to do the exact same today, just stopped working, I guess as it is not in regular use it clogs up easier. Did what you reported and all is fine now Thanks for the how to do.

Had the same problem. jets blocked so i took it off and the pump sprayed water about 6ft high. brought a new nozzle fitted and now it just dribbles like my 90 year old nan. Any ideas?

Just read this thread and it inspired me to investigate the rear washer on my vRS, i've only had the car a few months and the rear washer wasn't working when I bought it. I used it, along with other things, as a bargaining point. Turned out it was just the nozzle being blocked so after 20 mins with some hot water and picture wire that's one less job on the to do list. I'm feeling very Ed China :-)

Another success story thanks to this forum.

Almost started taking the boot trim out assuming the pipe had popped off but saw this and tried it first and it worked a treat.

Thanks Phildo!

I have found that none genuine screen wash does the blocking if not corrected ie unblock or buy new very cheap. Rust gets in the pipe work causing it to block again / wiper motor failure.

Is it possible to change the angle of the jet - mine comes out too low on the rear screen
