Elegence 1.6 Tdi DSG Hatch or Estate GFV

Featured Replies

Hi,

Has anyone recently ordered or received Elegence 1.6 Tdi DSG hatch or estate ?

What GFV were you quoted for standard equipment ?

Would the 2.0 be higher or lower GFV ?

Just been toying with this for a customer on the Hatch over Estate debate so to help you, these are the figures based on 10k PA over 36 months.

Estate 1.6 - £10,913.40

Estate 2.0 - £11,566.80

Hatch 1.6 - £10,502.10

Hatch 2.0 - £11,156.40

As you can see, although the 2.0 commands ~£900 premium at purchase, over the 3 years it does reduce to ~£650.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

Thanks for this information it helps me.

However does that mean the 2.0 depreciates more than the 1.6 ?

Do you know these figures on 15k mileage over 36 months.

I understand this to work like. Purchase price minus any deposit up to 7.5k I think. Then the difference between this value and the GFV is then paid as 36 monthly payments. At the end you either pay the GFV to keep the car or you can return and walk away or you can buy a new car and if the car is worth more than the GFV you can use this additional money as part of deposit.

Thanks

Pretty much thats it.
