I'd been thinking about replacing Scarlet for a while so decided to 'visit'some garages today. The first one I went to had an Adventure in, that had to go this month so a deal was done. I had done research over the last few weeks so I knew what I was hoping to pay to exchange.

I will not get her for another 12 days so she'll be on a 63 plate.

Now all we have to do is think of a name for her!

How about 'Indiana' as he's an Adventurer!!!!    :sun:

Slight problem as I tend to refer to my cars as being female!

She's a 140 4x4 based on a SE but with sat nav, bluetooth , multi function steering wheel with controls for radio and bluetooth, 17" Matterhorn alloys, silver roof rails and fancy upholstery with logos on the C pillar and scuff plates.

mine is called Phoenix thanks to the Yeti forum as when I trashed it into a Porsche Cayenne it was close to being written off, but it was rebuilt and therefore Phoenix was the chosen name. 

 

 Personally now it is getting close to 100k miles I am calling it all sorts of names, I haven't washed it for 3000 miles either but in 3000 more miles it is due a service and I am sure they will wash it.

 

 I have 11 months of Yeti left so what next?

Scarlet II , simples.

Years ago my Sister-In-Law  bought a white Astra that the previous owner had blinged-up.

 

It had a brass plate screwed to the dash with the name "Candida" engraved on (it actually looked better than it sounds, it was a nice piece of engineering!)

S-I-L told me Candida means " dazzling white" in Latin, sounds ok for a Candy White Yeti? It's also a girls name.

 

ps. S-I-L  asked me to remove it and fill in the screw holes, so I kept it (nice piece of brass) and put in the "come in handy" box where its been for about 15 years.

Problem with Scarlet 11 is that she is white, with a black roof.

The vrm is ..63ERO, so she may get called be-ro, as in the white flour!
