I recently bought a second hand skoda Fabia 1.2 08

I am trying to connect my iphone to car stereo, i have tried the aux input near the handbrake and  I tune to aux in on the dance unit but no sound just says aux in.

The wires pictured are located in the glovebox, am i missing something here, like a box of some sort sorry if its a stupid question but as you can tell my knowledge about cars is minimal.

Hope somone can shed some light. Cheers

Pushed in the aux wire hard, adjusted aux in to all 3 levels still nothing. Can anyone tell me what the wires in the glovebox are and how to use them? In guessing their is something missing but I don't know what

That lookalike the old Dension iPod adapter I had in my last car.

I could plug my old iPod into the cable there and select the cd changer on the head unit and use the disc select buttons to control it, badly.

Oh - and it doesn't work with modern iPods and any iPhones.

One certainly looks like an iPod connector, then the others USB and 3.5mm AUX

Try plugging the iPhone into the iPod connector and selecting AUX on the Stereo!!

(unless you have a iPhone 5 then you need an adapter!)
