After the acid attack vandalism on my car three weeks ago, it is now going in for the repair job

 

The garage tell me that in order to repair paintwork to required standard they have to break the windscreen, to access the A post, and screen will be replaced

 

Now will they automatically fit the sunguard tint windscreen, or will I have to ask this?

 

Are sunguard tint windscreens easily available?

 

Do ALL Fabias have the sunguard screen ?

 

What do I say or ask correctly the garage doing the work

Defo check with them, ive seen posts on here before where the screen has been replaced with the sunguard missing. I wouldnt like to lose mine!

Yes, ask them specifically to replace the screen with one with the sunguard. 

 

I had a replacement screen on my Fabia last year, and autoglass didn't have any standard sunguard windscreens in stock. They gave me the option to wait until stock arrived (a week or so) or offered me a screen with a green sun strip.....very 1980's, but I went for it and it looks ok on my car......but it would probably not look that good on a black car.  

The SE is racing blue so a green strip wouldn't be good. I'd double check with the garage that they'll refit a dark sun strip.

Put the car in Yesterday Monday and asked them about the windscreen. they confirmed it would be like for like
