Just bought Vrs. Rough idle and no ASR

Featured Replies

On my second day of VRS ownership.

Been good so far

Fitted 2 new drop links this morning and she now rides like a champ

Noticed this evening that she idles around 1050 revs which I think is a little high and her revs wander, maybe a small misfire

Is there anything I can do to rectify this? not overly bothered cause she goes like a train

Also, tried the ASR switch and it did nothing! Is this a normal thing with a 10 year old vrs?

Yes, ASR should be working and idle should be about 800rpm.  Any fault codes?  Possibly sounds like a split hose allowing extra air in somewhere.

split hose... and/or dead MAF
