Featured Replies

So I have just upgraded from a corsa to a vrs :) However I believe my cambelt was changed on a service that was 50,000 miles from skoda however the car has now got 116k isit worth changing it now? Or will it be okay to get it up to 120k?

Id get it done just for piece of mind like

Yeah I was thinking the same, reckon change the belt or belt and tensioner?

Full cambelt kit, water pump and aux belt is what id get done personally.

It's already had the aux belt done recently, how much should I be looking at paying to get it changed?

depends on where you go main dealer add on there bit prob 400 plus, I do mine myself and it comes in just around 150 ish quid, but failing that my local skoda specialist will do for another 150 quid on top of parts 3 - 320 total, would recommend always using genuine parts though even water pump. regs lewis
