Lower Strut brace

Featured Replies

Does anybody one here run a front lower strut brace? Used to have one on my old 106 and completely changed the feel of the car in corners, was thinking about buying one for my fabia.

Cheers

It will help and I am making one for my rally car, might not make a massive difference to the feel of it but will make it stronger and take some flex away from the xmember.

T.Spark has an OMP one fitted to his (my old) Mk1 fabia

I didn't think they did one for the fabia only the golf etc

I had one on my old ibiza 6l (same as fabia / 9n polo)

It was only lowered 40mm and it used to catch on everything!

Wouldnt recomend it.. was bent when i took it off lol :D

Plus u have to modify (destroy) the undertray to get it on.. or remove the undertray..

I quite fancied buying one to see if I could make my own version Matty, get the measurements etc and see if I could fab one up so it sits higher up, I had an OMP one on my first 106 and that was really low caught on everything too but on my 2nd a guy off eBay made them himself and they tooled right up to the exhaust and that never caught on anything ;)

i had one on my ibiza (mk2) and it made a massive difference to the front feel, but being based on a mk3 golf, it wasn't low like some of them now
