Car parks FFS

Featured Replies

Had it happen to me in a overflow car park at a pub, 3 scratches along the front RH corner, nice white scratches on a black car, no note.

That is pretty decent her leaving the note, I know not many people do now

Bodyshop phoned yesterday to say they'd got a cheque from her. Waiting on it to clear but they've orderd the part.

Some honest people out there.

well, i think this post jinxed me...

Today, while shooting photo's in an office, a lady walked in, and asked who owned the Silver Merc... i said me, she replied "because i've hit it"...

She had reversed across the road, and hit the only car, within 25 yards of her. her paint was on my bumper, just below headlight; she's scuffed it, poss pushed the edge of the wing in and it'll need a new parking sensor, as it's missing paint.

She's passed over all details, admitted liability, as my car was parked and locked. Merc dealer will asses it next week; over the phone, if it's sensor only, they are talking £60 for sensor, £70 to re-code to car and cost to remove / reinstall bumper - if the scuffs won't machine polish out, it's a respray... :(

oooo well....
