Hi can anyone out there help, just received my new galaxy s4 phone, tried to connect to car, goes through all the pairing procedure ok, but then comes to pin number , tried the default 1234 as is in car handbook, handbook mentions that 6 digit code might be self generated, generated by what ? car or phone, and is this the same number as the passcode that it generates in the pairing process??  totaly confused, any help much appreciatted

Usually when pairing a new phone to my car I get a 16 digit code come up on the display between the speedo and rev counter, something like 1111222233334444 and I type that in, then it works.

Thanks, I eventually found out that it was looking for the SIM card pin rather than its own self generated one, now working perfectly
