Any Skodas on the "Wanted by Thieves" list?

Featured Replies

I know that Audis, BMW's, big 4x4's & some Golfs are prime targets for thieves, either to sell abroad or to use as getaway cars, but are there any Skodas likely to get on the "desirable" list.  Just wondering, because I'm planning on changing my estate next year and don't particularly want a car that's going to give me hassle that way.

People on here have been broken into for cars yes. Its a microscopic percentage of cars though, are you really going to let it influence which car you buy?! Unless you buy a kia or huyndi they'll always be some risk.

Buy whatever you want and don't worry about it.

Doesnt matter what car you drive, if someone breaks into your house and finds the keys its probably going to be taken, even if its just to transport there loot

I cannot imagine the Roomster appearing on any thief's "desirable" list  :giggle:

That's the beauty of owning a skoda. A lot people don't even realise that they can be quite powerful. It's the stealth effect.

VRS' are usually high on such lists

Yeah, you're probably right. Just get what I want & be careful.  I'm considering the Octavia Estate 2.0 diesel 4x4.

Hey!

My i10 is an object of pure desire :/

Haha ok maybe it would be safe in most places..

But i dont think its completely dependant on what car you have, im sure how a thief's head works but i presume aslong as it has 4 wheels on the ground im sure they'll try.

Think mines safe, It's Bright yellow.

Not hard to find or hide down a back street
