Lamba "fooler" resistor !?

Featured Replies

Right the error codes in my previous post causing limp mode ( boosting 7psi, then 1.5bar over 5k rpm) and irratic boost when not in limp 1.5-2.5 bar to and forth.

I've read you can use a fooler or a resistor of some sort ? Has anyone done this as mapping it out atm isn't possible as monies tight at present

Mods are k04 , front mount , full decatted exhaust induction kit

Any help please thanks guys

Anyone??? Surely someone's done this

I've just fitted one. The fault code has disappeared but im not sure if it will sort your boost problem though mate. My car ran as normal when the engine light was on.

Thanks for the reply mate what ohm is it, where to get one and how to fit lol sorry for the questions but would prefer to get right first time.

I'm kinda wondering if that's the problem linked with boostin temped to check wastegate as I'm not sure if the actual wastegate will show up on fault codes

The link above is a spacer for the lambda sensor to pull it back out of the exhaust flow.

I've read spacers stuffed with a bit of wire wool works well...
