New suspension mods fitted and 1st repair bill for leaking seals :-(

Featured Replies

Well I have been bitten by the 'mod bug' again and taken to getting some suspension bits done. I had a £50 voucher for Awesome GTI so purchased a Whiteline RARB and ALK from them. Total for both delivered £295

These got fitted today at http://www.unit20.org/ by Martin.

They also renewed a leaking gearbox output flange seal and a boost pipe seal as found on the recent service they did.

All mods and seals fitted including cost of seals and new gbox oil £280

The other week a 4 yr service including plugs/brake fluid cost £380

I know that these aren't particularly cheap but I was happy with the work carried out and the overall service provided.

So these repairs and the service had been my 1st outlays in 4 years (3 years free servicing) apart from other mods and servicing not covered (brake fluid and AC).

I now also need to get the MOT and tax sorted so an expensive month  :(
