front drivers side bleed nipple snapped off

Featured Replies

Just done the rear caliper that was fecked with a new one but because I was away for a week air has got in the brake system and I need to bleed all the brakes and doing so the front drivers side calipers bleed nipple broke off its costing me a few quid to keep up with this car now I am going to see if I can take to an engineering place to see if they can take it out looking at £40 to £50.Tried to ask my local garage but he said this car needs to be bled by computer or some nonsense like that does anyone know anything about that.

you could possibly get the bleed nipple out using easy outs

as for bleeding as far as im aware theres nothing special to doing it? unless the garage just didnt want the work

Think the computer thing is referring to when you get air in the abs unit, i 'think' you need vcds to rectify this if it happens as you need to activate the abs while the bleed is carried out.

Thats my understanding anyway, but im no expert!

There's no magic sequence but you HAVE to use a pressure bleeder and don't forget the clutch, it uses the same reservoir.
