Coming home lights

Featured Replies

The garage state that they have enabled the coming home lights and teardrop wiper function on Snowy using codes I give them (from Briskoda members).

Snowy does not have a light sensor, does anyone know how I can activate these functions?

I don't think you can activate the coming home lights without auto lights option fitted.

I presume that when you say teardrop wipe, you are referring to the extra sweep the wipers do after cleaning the screen?

I think that should work and you will probably find the option to turn it on or off in the convenience bit of the MFD menu

You stop the car and remove the key. Flash the indicator stalk and you'll have a max of 30 seconds unlike the auto lights which allows a higher setting.

If you have maxidot you'll see the option under lights.

I think:-

Without a light sensor then the coming home lights will work even when it's light.

The teardrop function (for either wiper) doesn't normally appear in the maxidot display.

That just about covers all bases then lol

If your Adventure model has this facility,( I am not sure), then you can set it via the MaxiDot on the dashboard. I would check if it is part of the specification and if so go through your MaxiDot set up for it. CFB's comments on the wipe are correct
