Replacing rear brake disc / pads - 2002 4x4 estate

Featured Replies

I'm just about to order replacement rear brake discs (and pads) for my 2002 1.8T Octavia 4x4 estate and noticed that Eurocarparts list 2 variants of the Pagid disc for my car, one with a 232 mm diameter and one at 239 mm.

Could anyone advise which is the correct one?

I think (you will need to check) one disc is vented and one is not, go and look at your discs and see, you could even measure them.

Thanks for the reply. The discs on my car are non-vented, as are both of the compatible discs listed on Eurocarparts.

Unfortunately it doesn't look possible to accurately measure them on the car and I won't be taking them off until the new ones have arrived for fitting.

The vented ones are quite a bit larger and are I think for the vRS??

OK, it might be worth calling ecp so they can tell you what you need then order online for your discount

vrs rears are 256mm,

i think the 4x4 uses 239 but you need to check
